Dynamic Creature, Item and Zone Spawning:
Camping, or a player securing a certain area for loot, exp. or kills is a common source of grief to many players both in First Person Shooters and MMOPRG’s. While Charr will have some creatures and NPC’s set to specific spawn points, the majority of these creatures will spawn dynamically. Creatures will randomly spawn depending on the amount of players in a given area or zone. This allows players to always have the ability to gain Experience at any time.
Certain creatures will drop a specific item. However, in most cases creatures will possess large loot tables meaning any creature of a certain exp. level has a variable chance of dropping any numbers of items. Again this eliminates the need to camp any one creature considering that items can randomly drop from any number of creatures. Also, dynamic spawning helps the economy because servers do not become consistently overwhelmed with the same unique items.
It becomes very frustrating when trying to complete a quest or take a group to a certain dungeon when that dungeon is camped. Dynamic zones create a specific area for a player or group of players. Again this allows all players the chance to explore areas without worrying about reserving that specific zone or not being able to enter it altogether.
